In the first phase of the project the architecture of the system was outlined, the detailed definition of the requirements of the NCC of the U-DRagon, the test plan to be performed. Then we will move on to the realization of the system and to a series of acceptance tests of the functionality and requirements of the entire system. The evaluation parameters will consist of a preliminary design compatibility matrix with the system requirements. The mission entrusted to the Energetic Communities to study, design and build a new Network Control Center structure allows to revisit its structure and components, introducing new concepts that, previously, had not been taken into consideration. Today, thanks to the availability of new ICT technologies and the paradigm change of small satellite missions, it is possible to realize new processes. In particular, the idea of Virtualization of the NCC allows us to revisit the business models that have dominated the satellite market for small missions until now. The improvement conveyed by virtualization also lies in the possibility of improving service availability times even by an order of magnitude compared to what is offered today.
